FOWLERS VACOLA - Packing Stick

The packing stick is designed to facilitate easy and correct positioning of fruit within bottles in preparation for preserving.

Whether preserving for home use or competition, the packing stick is important as it allows easy arrangement of produce whilst expelling air bubbles whose existence leads to 'rising' of contents.

To use: use the small, rounded end to press fruit into position.  With the flat square end slide pieces of fruit into position, paying particular attention to the first slices of fruit into the bottle.
